ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in facilities. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

The position is a full-time role focused on maintaining sanitary environments, restrooms, floors, glass, and common areas. 18+ with preferred cleaning and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred, plus 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and service/restock supplies.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to access areas for cleaning.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors to keep them spotless.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions with appropriate solutions.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables following safety rules.
• Report any barriers and follow work schedules and route cards.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms - this is an essential responsibility.
• Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
