Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Janitor to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in our busy warehouse facilities and surrounding areas.

Hours are Monday - Friday 6am–3pm. Wage rates are Dry Warehouse $16.25 and Perishable Warehouse $16.75, with standard company benefits available.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, plus use of cleaning equipment and PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash cans and replace liners in warehouse and exterior areas.
• Operate trash compactor and create cardboard bales.
• Sweep, mop and sanitize warehouse floors and storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize racking and slot locations; maintain janitor closets and equipment.

Warehouse Janitor - Day Shift (Maintenance)

Warehouse Janitor

This is an important position for the warehouse team so that they can operate efficiently and safely in their fast-paced world. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of a warehouse facility and its surrounding areas. Currently hiring for our perishable warehouse and hour dry warehouse.

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-3pm

Wage: Dry Warehouse $16.25, Perishable Warehouse $16.75

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Empty all trash cans, trash bins, and replace liners in the warehouse areas and the outside perimeter of the facilities. Clean trash receptacles as necessary
• Make cardboard bales and operate the trash compactor
• Sweep and dry mop warehouse areas
• Run the floor scrubber to sanitize the warehouse areas
• Clean and sanitize racking and slot locations
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Requisition of cleaning supplies and equipment as necessary
• Remove litter from the grounds and maintain cleanliness of side walks
• Help maintain pest control
• Deep cleaning as needed

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
