Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Warehouse Person Inventory to perform warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, counting, sorting, labeling and stocking of food and non-food items at the Maria Luna Facility.

On-site position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year warehouse experience preferred, valid Texas driver license, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and basic reading/writing/math skills. Equal opportunity employer; drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Pass drug/alcohol test.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Pulling, picking, packing, moving, counting, sorting, loading and unloading items.
• Ensure orders are secured on pallets for transit.
• Assist in record keeping, shelving, labeling and storing items.
• Store items in designated bin/shelf/container/storage area, etc
• Report stock needs replenishment.
• Maintain and service equipment per procedures.
• Participate in inventories.
• Assist in deliveries with a certified driver.
• Report damaged products.
• Receive and/or cross-train for warehouse equipment/functions.
• Lift and/or exert force up to 60 lbs.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Complete daily/periodic record keeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
