About the Role
As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you'll manage workflow and production, ensuring timely handling of materials and goods to meet client needs. You'll maintain service, quality, and workplace safety while working hands-on with the team.
(This role will work Monday - Friday, from 6:00 AM CST to 2:30PM CST)
Responsibilities
Performing shipping, receiving, material handling, put-away, and picking of raw materials and finished goods per daily production schedules and service requirements.
Executing job setup and production planning to meet demanding client deliverables.
Escalating and helping resolve production risks when identified.
Recognizing and resolving any discrepancies with the work or processes through thoughtful resolution or escalation.
Adhering to attendance policies and applying excellent time management throughout each production day.
Maintaining detailed production and service logs for all equipment.
Following verbal and written guidance, including instructions from work orders and process guides.
Communicating effectively and helping create/maintain a professional environment.
Facilitating and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Following and documenting maintenance requirements for all equipment in production areas.
Anticipating potential production bottlenecks or backlogs and providing solutions to avoid delays.
Performing on a moderately flexible work schedule (shift overtime or weekends during seasonal peaks and unplanned demand).
Requirements
Have basic computer skills (Excel, WORD, Outlook, Internet, etc.).
Have a High School diploma or GED.
Be proficient in working with mechanical systems, including assembly, repair, and troubleshooting.
Be willing to quickly learn new processes and machines.
Sense of urgency around your work.
Be accountable, honest, and works with integrity.
Have flexibility in daily assignments and overtime requirements.
Be able to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Experience working in a team environment.
Have open hours peak delivery months (April, October, November-December), flexibility in working hours is valued to ensure timely order fulfillment, aligning with fluctuating demand.
