Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen per contract.
• High School diploma required.
• Able to follow established SOPs.
• Hazardous materials handling experience preferred.
• Valid State Driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, store, and process shipments.
• Operate forklift or hand trucks as required.
• Assign receipt control numbers and document in Excel (Excel spreadsheet).
• Assemble items into groups and segregate by factors like vendor, location, and test items.
• Inspect materials and route to storage or designated organization; retrieve docs from GFEBS, DoD EMALL, contracts.
• Document and report damaged containers or conditions to Government personnel.
• Identify accountable items, apply barcodes, and forward docs to the stock record for accountability.
• Include data plate pictures for ARL accounting records when applicable.
• Handle accountable items per procedures and secure sensitive items as needed.
• Coordinate inbound shipments involving radioactive cargo with ARL Radiation Protection Officer.
