Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in the United States seeks a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to support inventory control and the accuracy of materials, records, and delivery systems. Shift runs 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Thursday, with starting pay at $20.50 per hour.

You will verify quantities, process shipments, label stock, reconcile data in ERP systems, and perform cycle counts while maintaining organized storage and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read BOM and interpret BOMs.
• Ability to read and understand shipping/receiving schedules.
• Ability to obtain Rheem lift truck license.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g. Korber, HighJump) preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint within 6 months.
• Proficiency with Oracle inventory applications within 6 months.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory transactions/receipts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and management.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Demonstrates problem solving, attention to detail, basic math, and reading/writing comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Verify accurate quantities/descriptions for incoming materials based on open purchase orders, packing lists, freight bills and bills of lading.
• Mark freight bills and noting any damage or shortage of goods delivered.
• Apply receiver's stamp (LP) and signature to all approved freight bills, bills of lading and packing lists.
• Label all stock items with the date of receipt or shipment and the part number to all stock items.
• Properly tag incoming or outgoing materials and maintain documentation.
• Support inventory accuracy through verification and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain alignment between Oracle system locations and physical storage locations.
• Assist in development of audit processes and Kanban delivery signals.
• Perform cycle counts in accordance with inventory.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
