Job summary

Boart Longyear in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support operations by receiving, storing, and issuing materials and maintaining accurate inventory records in our ERP system. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality control across the warehouse environment.

You will collaborate with operations and fleet teams to fulfill orders, coordinate material deliveries to rigs when required, verify shipping records, and uphold security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Receives requests from operations and fleet teams and inputs and fulfils orders for material, including coordinating delivery of material to rig site if required.
• Responsible for accurate and timely receipt and issue of materials including completion of material transactions in ERP system.
• Verifies material shipping records for accuracy, resolves material handling questions, and resolves concerns of shipping shortages and/or material overages, including addressing any issues/problems with warehouse inventory control.
• Maintains physical security of material and notifies supervisor of any suspected security issues.
• Performs inventory counts as directed. Complies with BLY inventory policies.
• Ensures stock is placed neatly on the shelves and that material status is clearly identifiable. Complies with storing and safety load limits.
• Ensures that lifting equipment is available and adheres to company guidelines on proper lifting techniques
• Complies with all import/export and transportation regulations and BLY policies including documentation, packing, shipping and reporting.
• Complies with BLY EH&S policies and guidance regarding material handling techniques, hazardous material storage and shipment.
• Other related inventory tasks as directed by the Zone Materials Manager or Warehouse Supervisor/Lead.
