Job summary

Purvis Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for shipping, receiving, in-town parts pickup and general shop duties. You will identify shipments, track inventory, pull orders, pack and ship, and assist with local deliveries using a company vehicle.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and demonstrate dependable, well‑groomed professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be clean cut and well groomed.

Responsibilities

• Identify incoming shipments, compare to packing slip and forward packing slip to Order Processing.
• Track incoming parts, fill orders and maintain inventory counts.
• Keep project pick lists up to date with received parts.
• Pull products based on delivery ticket and verify accuracy.
• Pack and ship orders to customers.
• Assist with processing UPS and motor freight shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
• Assist local parts pickup and deliveries by driving a company vehicle.
• Assist Production and Operations managers with other duties as needed.
