Job summary

Texas A&M University Press in College Station, Texas is seeking a Storekeeper II to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will open/close the shipping area, manage inventory, and prepare freight documents.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of related experience, and forklift certification with the ability to obtain within 90 days. You will work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Open warehouse and shipping room at 8am; close at 5pm.
• Maintain and issue books, supplies, materials, and tools; assist with storeroom inventory.
• Deliver campus mail to Press customer service unit for processing.
• Sort, pull, pack and ship daily orders and any added orders.
• Ensure rush orders are handled the same day.
• Prepare documents for incoming and outgoing freight.
• Assist in processing returns in Naviga; check for damage and restock inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all warehouse activities.
• Receive and manage warehouse inventory, including restocking.
• Assist with internal inventory inquiries and physical inventories.
