Job summary

Texas A&M University Press is seeking a Storekeeper II to manage and issue books, supplies, and inventory, while coordinating campus mail and daily shipping operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of related experience and forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a 1-hour lunch. Proactive, safety-conscious candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open warehouse and shipping room daily from 8am to 5pm.
• Maintain and issue a wide variety of books, supplies, materials, and tools and assist in maintaining storeroom inventory at the University Press.
• Deliver daily campus mail to Press customer service unit for processing and ensure outgoing mail is picked up.
• Sort, pull, pack and ship daily group orders and any additional orders as they come in throughout the day.
• Ensure that rush orders are handled the same day.
• Prepare required documents for incoming & outgoing freight.
• Assist in processing returns in Naviga (fulfillment & inventory system).
• Assist with inventory inquiries and participate in physical inventories.
