Job summary

Kentucky Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Replenishment associate in Lexington, KY. The role uses iPad and RF scanning to track location-based inventory, replenishes stock in the load area with electric equipment, and builds pallets for the load team while adhering to FIFO guidelines.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Shift is 5am–1:30pm with overtime as needed; full-time with comprehensive benefits and 401(k)

Qualifications

• 1 year of class 3 material handling equipment experience.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly; occasional 165 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift including above shoulder level.
• Able to follow spoken commands through voice pick.
• Read and comprehend layer configurations of products on pallets.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Overtime work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow supplier guidelines for FIFO product rotation.

• Pick orders with paper load sheet and verify accuracy with RF scanner.
• Wrap built pallets using a wrapping machine.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Follow Kentucky Eagle safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Utilize iPad and RF scanner to accurately move and track inventory (location-based inventory)
• Replenish inventory in the load building area with an electric forklift
• Utilize layer-picker attachment on electric forklift to build pallets for the load build team.
• Receive and verify inbound shipments. (Occasional)
• Follow KY Eagle’s supplier guidelines for product freshness using First In First Out product rotation process.
• Operate an electric walk/rider pallet jack while picking product and stacking cases onto a pallet.
• Pick orders with paper load sheet.
• Verify picked orders for accuracy using RF scanner and entering pallet weight.
• Wrap built pallets using wrapping machine.
• General housekeeping in warehouse; sweeping, cleaning, and emptying trash.
• Follow KY Eagle safety and work policies.
• Other tasks assigned by management
  

Requirements:

• 1 year of class 3 material handling equipment (Forklift / Walkie Rider) experience.
• Ability to routinely lift 35 pounds. Occasional lifting of 165 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, lift including above shoulder level and carry cases of product on regular basis.
• Able to follow spoken commands through voice pick and verify pick locations by reading warehouse pallet location placards.
• Ability to operate an electric forklift to build pallets. This candidate must be able to read and comprehend the layer configurations of products picked.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
• Work overtime as needed.
