Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Worker in San Jose, CA to receive, inspect, label, and organize products, ensuring FIFO controls for perishable items. You will assist with picking, packing, and arranging transport for orders while upholding safety standards.

The role requires basic literacy, communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb. Prior warehouse experience and a valid driver’s license may be preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age or older.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and carry up to 35 lb.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO for perishables.
• Train/operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy/production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products to warehouse or client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts.
• Complete administrative records (inventory, logs, inspections).
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety PPE requirements.
• Ensure security of assets and interact with clients and staff as required.
