Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Worker at Univ. of GA facilities in Athens, GA. The role includes receiving, inspecting, labeling, inventory tasks, and preparing orders for transport, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have high school or equivalent, 2 years warehouse experience preferred, strong communication, and ability to lift up to 50 lb. Training on pallet jacks and forklifts may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting products, labeling items and reporting discrepancies.
• Organizing and storing incoming products, applying FIFO controls.
• May operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Picks inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load/unload/transport products within the warehouse and client locations.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and complete admin records.
• Maintain clean work areas and enforce safety policies.
