Job summary

Aramark at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill seeks a Warehouse Worker to receive, inspect, and prepare orders, maintaining accuracy and a clean, organized facility. You will support inventory control, labeling, and loading activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include organizing stock, operating pallet jacks or forklifts as trained, and adhering to safety policies. 18+ required with basic math, reading/writing skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb frequently / 35 lb max for sustained periods.
• Some locations may require a valid driver’s license; MVR may be checked.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO controls.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as trained.
• Pick inventory to fulfill orders and requisitions.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and record results.
• Maintain inventory records in paper or electronic systems.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; follow PPE guidelines.
• Ensure security of client and company assets and materials.
