Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, IN is seeking an Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counter to support accurate stock and cycle counts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role offers a $20/hour pay rate with weekly pay, paid training, and strong benefits. You will work with RF scanners and forklifts, maintain GMP practices, and assist operations supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy for client demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with warehouse operations and basic inventory control appreciated.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Support floor operations with inventory issue resolution.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
