Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Wilmington, IL is seeking a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Cycle Counter to join our team on the B shift. You will conduct cycle counts, audits, and assist the Inventory Supervisor in inventory control while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments and assist in investigations.
• Support Inventory Supervisor in inventory-related tasks.
• Maintain GMPs and ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and hourly associates.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Cycle Counter in Wilmington, Illinois

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.00/hour + $2/hour shift pay
• Schedule: B shift Sunday-Tuesday 5pm-4:30pm,Wednesdays 5p-11p
• Sign on Bonus: $1000 paid half in 30 days and half in 90 days

The Inventory Clerk I is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and assisting the Inventory Supervisor in any inventory related functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
