Job Purpose and Impact

The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator will support maintenance work by ensuring the availability of necessary spare parts for work execution to increase plant productivity and maximize reliability performance. All opportunities to improve processes, people knowledge, engagement, and costs will be captured while complying with environmental health and safety and food safety quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Receive goods and services into storage locations to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize purchase to pay non-conformance, keeping received materials segregated, returning defective and non-conforming goods to suppliers while maintaining a document trail.
  2. Ensure inventory stock and safety stock values are accurate and systematically identify obsolete, potential consignment, and overstock items.
  3. Schedule relevant inspection of goods to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality.
  4. Define the most appropriate inventory management process based on demand to minimize working capital.
  5. Lead and monitor storage practices for parts, collaborating with suppliers to ensure inventory is stored properly for direct placement in the plant.
  6. Make purchase requests of stock items to maintain determined inventory levels, partnering with local suppliers for vendor-controlled inventory.
  7. Initiate and track procurement of stock parts required for standard job plans to ensure availability for scheduled work.
  8. Handle basic issues and problems under supervision, escalating complex issues appropriately.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
