The Warehouse Box Truck & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the safe and timely movement of door components and materials between manufacturing and warehouse locations. This position will operate a company box truck and forklift while maintaining accurate inventory transactions related to material movement. The position will also support inventory control activities, including physical inventory counts, variance investigation, tracking, and reporting.
This person is expected to perform work in the manufacturing floor/environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a box truck. Ability to safely handle materials and perform loading and unloading activities. Ability to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and moving equipment. This is a full-time position. This position occasionally requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
