Portland General Electric is seeking a Supervisor of Inventory Control to lead warehouse operations across Portland, Oregon City, and Gresham. The role supervises staff, conducts cycle counts, and maintains asset records while ensuring compliance with inventory policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple departments, driving efficiency, and managing budgets. Strong knowledge of inventory systems and SOX controls is preferred; a bachelor’s degree and several years of warehousing

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations or related field or equivalent experience.
• Prefer five or more years in warehousing, supply chain, purchasing or administration.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management practices, processes and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the daily activities of business support, technicians and/or production teams.
• Supervises bargaining teams in various locations responsible for all warehouse functions including issuing, returning, and receiving material and parts; cycle counting; stocking material; entering data in the inventory management system.
• Manages asset records lifecycle, including creating asset records for new equipment, tracking disposition, and refurbishment of tools and materials.
• Ensures safety, compliance, and efficient operation; partners with multiple departments to meet customer needs; develops budgets and oversees spending.
