Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring an Inventory Clerk in Etna, Ohio. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits, supporting supervisors, and ensuring GMPs and safety on the warehouse floor.

Position offers second shift 3:30pm–12:00am, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Prior warehouse and forklift experience are preferred, with strong attention to detail and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• 1+ year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified.
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $27.00 per hour when working overtime
• Additional Pay: $1.00 when assigned to Second Shift
• Schedule: Second Shift Sunday - Thursday 3:30pm - 12:00am

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
