Ryder System is hiring an Inventory Clerk in Montgomery, Alabama to support warehouse operations. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with a focus on safety and accuracy in a clean, organized facility.

Typical duties include cycle counts, audits, and floor support for supervisors and hourly staff, using forklifts, RF scanners, and standard office tools. Training is provided and PTO starts in month one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred
• 1+ year forklift experience preferred
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Word) preferred
• Ability to recognize/read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
