Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Franklin, Indiana, is seeking a Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for career progression in a safety‑driven supply chain environment.

You will work 1st shift Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with possible overtime on weekends during peak season. Primary duties include inventory cycles, audits, and supporting accurate inventory in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• One year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Equipment certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. Possible OT on weekends during peak season with notice.

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment.

Requirements
