Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a warehouse picker to accurately pick from pick tickets and prepare orders for shipment. You will use an RF scanner to input and organize products, identify inventory locations, and ensure orders are palletized and scanned in FIFO order.

The role requires being able to work in a cold environment, meet physical lifting demands, and communicate effectively with teammates while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to perform tasks and read labels, lists, and records.
• Ability to operate forklifts and scanners with training.
• Ability to work in cold environments and lift 20–100 pounds.
• Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanner is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions precisely for picking from a pick ticket.
• Use an RF scanner to input, organize, and export products in the warehouse.
• Identify and pick cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack products on pallets in a specified sequence and location.
• Return undelivered products to inventory locations.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Observe safe product handling techniques.
• Cooperate with supervisors and peers.
• Be punctual and consistently available for work.
• Other duties as assigned.
