Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Mexia State Supported Living Center is hiring a Warehouse Specialist I. This entry-level role focuses on inventory and logistics to ensure daily living supplies reach state facilities.

Work schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, staging, delivering items, and maintaining accurate stock in MIMS and CAPPS. Valid forklift training and Class C license preferred.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of general warehouse operations to include shipping, receiving, issuing and inventory control.
• Ability to operate mechanical lifting devices to move goods.
• Ability to follow warehouse rules, regulations, and policies for inventory control.
• Ability to use a handheld device for managing warehouse stock.
• Skill in using computer inventory/receiving software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Class C Driver's License (Texas) preferred; forklift training within three months.

Responsabilidades

• Attend a regular and predictable schedule per agency policy.
• Review picking tickets and verify items against labels.
• Load, unload, and stage warehouse stock using equipment.
• Deliver stock to ordering departments using a state vehicle.
• Enter data into MIMS and CAPPS for inventory and receiving.
• Participate in COOP activation as needed.
