Job summary

IEM is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support the receipt, storage, tracking, and shipment of equipment and parts. You will maintain inventory records, document material condition, and work with Field Service teams, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure accurate tracking of materials in transit.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, procedure documentation, and participation in continuous warehouse improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling.
• Experience using inventory management systems to track materials and maintain inventory records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and ship parts and equipment while ensuring inventory records are updated and material condition is documented.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of equipment and materials to prevent damage and maintain inventory integrity.
• Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and barcode scanning.
• Maintain documentation for parts and equipment stored in the warehouse or in transit to ensure accountability of materials.
• Maintain accountability for Field Service testing equipment within the IEM Center of Excellence in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to receive, store, ship, and track materials.
• Assist in supporting Field Service inventory activities, including warehouse organization and inventory counts.
• Provide recommendations to improve warehouse operations and assist in the development of warehouse policies and procedures.
