Job summary

IEM, a trusted provider of electrical distribution systems, seeks a Warehouse Assistant I to support receiving, storing, tracking, and shipping equipment and parts in the Product Services warehouse. You will maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper handling per SOPs.

The role collaborates with manufacturing facilities, Field Service, vendors, and transport providers to keep materials moving and accounted for.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling.
• Experience using inventory management systems to track materials and maintain records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and ship parts and equipment while ensuring inventory records are updated and material condition is documented.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of equipment and materials to prevent damage and maintain inventory integrity.
• Follow applicable SOPs and Work Instructions related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and barcode scanning.
• Maintain documentation for parts and equipment stored in the warehouse or in transit to ensure accountability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to receive, store, ship, and track materials.
