Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the sales floor and assist with product placement alongside the Visual Merchandiser. You will help manage warehouse operations, including setup, wrapping, and storage for customer pick-up or delivery, while keeping the backroom clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Thrive in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Ability to supervise and provide leadership when needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products repeatedly from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory by arranging showroom and setting up new products.
• Wrap and store sold items or load them into customer vehicles for pickup.
• Coordinate with Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Handle clerical warehouse tasks, including product receipt documentation.
• Receive, distribute and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Keep warehouse organized and perform general housekeeping.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and support cost-reduction efforts.
• Perform extra tasks and special projects as assigned.
