Job summary

YQN Logistics is seeking an inbound operations supervisor in Port Reading, NJ, to lead the small-item inbound team and ensure accurate putaway and quality control. The role focuses on coordinating with multiple clients, managing mixed arrivals, and maintaining inventory integrity.

The position is full-time onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) and a salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, E‑Commerce Management, or related field.
• At least 1 year inbound management experience in a small-item e‑commerce warehouse or 3PL with multi-client, multi-SKU handling.
• Familiar with WMS receiving and putaway logic; understands barcode and packaging requirements for e‑commerce platforms.
• Strong multitasking abilities; able to handle peak-period receiving pressure.
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required.
• Working visa sponsorship is available for qualified employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inbound team including receiving clerks, putaway clerks, and quality inspectors.
• Coordinate with customers on delivery appointments and ensure timely putaway.
• Oversee rapid counting and system receiving to prevent backlogs.
• Supervise piece-by-piece quality inspection and label verification to prevent defective inventory entering sellable area.
• Coordinate mixed arrivals from different clients and guide sorting and putaway by client identifiers.
• Provide inbound status updates to e-commerce clients and generate relevant reports.

【Responsibilities】

• Leadership and Team Management: Manage the small item inbound team (receiving clerks, putaway clerks, quality inspectors), responsible for staffing, training, and daily task assignment.
• Performance Enhancement: Coordinate with customers on delivery appointments, oversee rapid counting and system receiving, ensuring that goods are put away within the committed timeframe without backlogs.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise piece‑by‑piece quality inspection of small items and label verification to prevent defective inventory from entering the sellable area.
• Schedule Management: Coordinate the handling of mixed arrivals from different clients, guiding the team to quickly sort, categorize, and put away items based on client identifiers.
• Reporting: Generate inbound timeliness reports, putaway accuracy reports, quality inspection issue classification statistics reports, and replenishment feedback for suppliers/clients.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide real‑time inbound status updates to e‑commerce clients.
• Security and Integrity: Ensure real‑time and accurate entry of receiving and putaway data, providing a foundational guarantee for front‑end inventory visibility.

【Qualifications】

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, E‑Commerce Management, or related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 1 year of inbound management experience in a small item e‑commerce warehouse or 3PL warehouse, with experience handling mixed arrivals from multiple clients and multiple SKUs.
• Industry Expertise: Familiar with WMS receiving and putaway logic; understand common barcode and packaging requirements of e‑commerce platforms.
• Leadership Skills: Strong multitasking abilities; able to effectively handle peak‑period receiving pressure.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required.
