Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson is hiring a Warehouse II at our Houston, TX facility. The role focuses on parts picking/packing, receiving, inventory location changes, and coordinating with shipping carriers to fulfill customer orders.

You'll drive locally to deliver/pickup parts, assist with cycle counts, and maintain accurate paperwork. Strong PC skills (Windows/Excel/PowerPoint) and forklift operation knowledge are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Parts picking and packing for all orders.
• Receiving for work, purchase, and inventory orders.
• Maintain inventory location changes; notifies Inventory Control Analyst as needed.
• Process cores for shipments to vendors.
• Complete inventory transaction documentation, i.e.: entering item number, quantity & location, acquiring proper signatures for delivering and receiving parts.
• Ensure that all appropriate paperwork/reports are forwarded to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with the appropriate shipping companies for customer orders and field service tools.
• Monthly maintenance of UPS tickets – current rates and fuel surcharges.
• Assists with cycle count.
• Drive/deliver/pickup parts locally.
• May take after hour calls on rotation with other warehouse employees.
• General warehouse housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Stewart & Stevenson isNow Hiring a Warehouse II at 10750 Telge Road Houston, TX 77095.

Responsible for the movement of parts/products and organization of the parts yard for a manufacturer of oil & gas equipment. Must have a valid driver's license to deliver/pickup parts locally.

Responsibilities

• Parts picking and packing for all orders.
• Receiving for work, purchase, and inventory orders.
• Maintain inventory location changes; notifies Inventory Control Analyst as needed.
• Process cores for shipments to vendors.
