WORK TYPE: On Site

LOCATION DETAILS: 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX

WORK HOURS: 2nd Shift - Monday- Friday 1:00PM- 9:30PM

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements:

• Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

In this role, the Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all stock put away, replenishments, cycle counts, and picking being accounted for accurately and placed in the most efficient locations for the Distribution Center's flow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Picker's responsibilities arebut are not limited to,managing to pick ticket orders

• Pulls orders from locations
• Ensures orders are complete and accurate
• Stages order/s correctly at shipping stations
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Loads delivery vehicles
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.

Picker is responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end. Floors need to be swept, all trash should be picked up and empty boxes need to be properly disposed of. Must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in the shipping area.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

• Requires ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry packages and other items and to walk short distances.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and works with pallet jacks, tape guns, and other standard equipment.
• Work in non-climate controlled environment.

Education, Certification and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
