Job summary

jbtm is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform general duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping materials. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, and support inventory counts as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work in a physical, fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Unload trucks and containers using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Pick and stage orders accurately according to pick lists or customer requirements.
  • Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
