Job summary

Wieland Group in Warwick, RI is seeking a Warehouse Helper to assist in operations and packaging. This role will involve supplying material to the machine, assisting with equipment changes, and preparing orders for shipment.

The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 pounds, and have basic English reading skills. The position offers a starting pay of $22.05 per hour with benefits including medical and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Some knowledge of metals would be helpful but is not needed.
• Must be able to read and understand English and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supply material to the machine
• Assist with the set-up
• Assist with changing equipment on the machine
• Collect the proper packing supplies
• Assist the Slitter Operator when necessary
• Prepare the skid and packaging supplies for the respective order
• Help Slitter Operator remove coils from the machine
• Band the coils
• Put the coils on the skid(s) and pack for shipment
