Position Summary

Responsible for working directly with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory management, utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Conduct in and out inspections for all equipment leaving the warehouse
• Assist the manager with inventory management
• Oversee inventory of tools and rigging entering and leaving the facility
• Interpret specifications and work orders
• Requisition, obtain, and distribute supplies and materials
• Assist with resolving warehouse issues
• Read, prepare, and maintain reports

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
• Experience in construction craft roles as helper or laborer, or related work/training
• Must be at least 18 years old

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of health and safety programs and regulations
• Active participation in toolbox meetings
• Set a safe example
• Proficiency in one or more craft areas
• Basic math skills, reading scales, using fractions
• Ability to work under pressure and within timelines
• Knowledge of construction components, systems, and codes
• Follow directions and have necessary tools

Physical Demands

• Work up to 12 hours in varying outdoor conditions
• Physical strength and stamina; lift up to 50 pounds; perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, climbing
• Work at heights with safety equipment
• Visual and auditory acuity

Hours and Travel

Full-time, typically 50 hours/week, with travel up to 90% to project sites.
