Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is a family-owned business with 100+ locations nationwide and a full line distributor of roofing and building products. The Warehouse Helper assists in safely loading materials with forklifts, receives and verifies incoming stock, and supports order picking and inventory tasks.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and the physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds while maintaining a safe work environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Must lift up to 100 pounds continually.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (citizen or visa).
• Pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Helper

Job Summary

The Warehouse Helper is responsible for safely loading materials utilizing forklifts. Receive incoming materials from vendors, verify quantity for accuracy, description, amounts, and complete appropriate paperwork. Order picking, will call orders, assisting in loading customer’s vehicles with materials, reporting problems, deliveries, service issues, etc. Assist in taking inventory as needed.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
• Experience driving a forklift
• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of material continually
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
• All new hires must complete pre-employment background check and drug test**

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Forklift Certified
• Previous material handling a plus
