Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Warehouse Handler to build and load customer orders for delivery and ensure accuracy and security of each shipment. You will hand-pick products, use equipment and materials to assemble orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include meeting daily productivity targets, receiving inbound loads, counting inventory, restocking, and operating pallet jacks or forklifts with proper certification obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Handlers are a key part of getting a variety of products on time into the hands of our customers by building and loading correct orders onto the delivery trucks. The Warehouse Handlers will hand pick and use equipment and materials to build customer orders.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout Heartland Facility (walking in warehouse)
• Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Able to be certified on manual and powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.

Pay

$17 an hour
