Job summary

Fikes is seeking an experienced Warehouse Handler in Federal Way, WA to support daily warehouse operations. You will pull and prepare orders, receive and organize inventory, and ensure products are ready for delivery or pickup.

The ideal candidate has warehouse/order-pulling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This position offers a day shift, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and order-pulling experience required.
• Experience reading pick lists and accurately preparing orders.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull products and materials accurately according to order sheets or pick lists.
• Verify item numbers, product descriptions, and quantities before completing orders.
• Pack, label, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Properly store and organize products in assigned warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Report inventory shortages, damaged products, and order discrepancies.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment, if trained or certified.
• Keep warehouse shelves, aisles, workstations, and loading areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and product-handling requirements.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
• Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Friday
Starting Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Fikes is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Handler to support our daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for accurately pulling and preparing orders, receiving and organizing inventory, and ensuring products and materials are ready for delivery or pickup.

The ideal candidate has previous order-pulling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely move products and operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

• Starting compensation of $21.00 per hour
• Full-time, Monday-Friday day schedule
