Job summary

Lineage Logistics in New York is seeking a warehouse associate to move products and materials using forklifts and other equipment, while following safety standards.

You will read work orders, identify pallets, record counts with RF scanning, and help prepare items for outbound shipments. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Basic math skills for quantities and weights.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to work in cold and warm storage environments and operate PPE gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs/18 kgs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Comfort with varying noise levels in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks.
• Pick palletized units from rack locations and prepare for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and item condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Read and follow computerized work orders to locate items for shipping.
• Document damages and discrepancies to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning when required.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain equipment storage area.
• Report issues to leadership and assist in problem resolution.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse during/after shifts.
