Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator in Attalla, Alabama. You will use various lifting equipment to move products, read work orders, and prepare items for shipment in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities include stocking racking, recording counts with RF technology, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining equipment. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and the flexibility to work shifts, including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Identify products by pallet IDs or scanning systems.
• Basic math skills for counts and quantities.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Comfortable in cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) or hot storage up to 100°F/37°C with PPE.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Must tolerate varying noise levels in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move products within the facility following safety standards.
• Place palletized units onto racks and retrieve for outbound shipments.
• Record weights, counts, and item conditions via RF system.
• Read work orders to locate items and quantities.
• Document damages or discrepancies and report to supervisors.
• Pack, label, and secure pallets for shipping as required by RF scans.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance and battery care as directed.
• Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization during shift.
