Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Warehouse General to support order selection, receiving, loading, and repacking activities in our Texas facility. The role requires operating a forklift or electric pallet jack and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Must be at least 18 and able to read/write English.

Qualifications

The Warehouse General Position

The Warehouse General position is primarily responsible for assisting warehouse personnel in order selecting, receiving, loading, and repacking activities. The position will primarily use a forklift or electric pallet jack to fulfill these duties.

• Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy
• Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; report any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor
• Ensure work area is organized, clean, and free of trash
• Project a friendly, professional image at all times
• Prioritize multiple, competing priorities
• Attend meetings as required

Job Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
• Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
• High school graduate or GED required
