Job summary

Factory Direct Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ashley is hiring a General Laborer for our furniture distribution warehouse in Edison, NJ. You will safely lift, move, load, unload, and organize furniture and merchandise to support fast-paced operations.

This physically demanding role requires reliability, teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work an 8-hour shift with consistent pace and accuracy.

Previous warehouse or labor experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move furniture and merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Move merchandise between receiving, storage, picking, assembly, and shipping areas as needed.
• Assist with furniture preparation, assembly, staging, downstacking, and loadout.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and use proper lifting and material-handling techniques.
