Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking an entry-level General Laborer to support our fabrication shop. You will assist with packing and shipping, operate basic machinery after training, and help keep work areas clean and organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires reading/writing English, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Safety, teamwork, and following instructions are essential as you assist various production tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Comfortable working in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn basic equipment and shop processes.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in production with variable temperatures and noise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packing, preparing, and loading finished products for shipment.
• Verify materials and products are properly protected and labeled for shipping.
• Operate basic shop machinery and equipment after training.
• Move materials, tools, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Clean and organize work areas, equipment, and shop spaces.
• Remove scrap, trash, and debris from production areas.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist production departments as workload requires.
• Complete general labor and shop-support tasks as assigned.
