Job summary

USCS is seeking a warehouse forklift operator for our Quakertown, PA site. You will perform facility cleaning of assigned areas, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure safety and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities include battery changing, using scanners and tablets, communicating with shift leadership, and following established procedures to maintain workflow. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with high-reach forklift and warehouse training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facility cleaning of breakrooms, locker rooms, and freezer/dock areas.
• Change batteries when applicable to the site.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Use scanners, tablets, radios, and other equipment to complete tasks.

The Job Details:

• Facility Cleaning of assigned areas: breakrooms, Locker Rooms, Freezer/Dock
• Battery Changing if applicable to site
• Utilization of warehouse equipment to accomplish necessary tasks; must have required training
• Operate Equipment in a safe manner
• Communication with site/shift leadership to complete duties as assigned
• Follow established work procedures and work rules, while maintaining established productivity levels.

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Previous high-reach forklift and/or warehouse training

Other Abilities You Will Need to Have

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance on an occasional basis
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Be able to speak and hear for safety and productivity.
• Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
• Ability to lift overhead.
• Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand.
• Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements.
• Have acceptable and/or correctable vision.
• Work in an atmospheric range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level
• Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high.
• Good arithmetic and reading skills.
• Understand and follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
