Position emphasizes hands-on warehouse tasks, product handling, pallet jack operation, and adherence to safety guidelines. Training is provided, with room for advancement across Ryder's U.S. distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scans are correct.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain facility security.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for damage evidence.
• Conduct material moves and maintain associated transactions.
• Perform housekeeping in assigned area and other duties as needed.
