Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate in Franklin, IN. The position offers weekly pay at $18.00 per hour and on-the-job training with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

The role supports distribution across the US using RF scanning and state-of-the-art equipment. Candidates should have at least six months of related warehouse experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) including maintenance.
• Powered industrial truck certification
• Ability to read and perform basic math for safety and work instructions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Data input into the WMS.
• Overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain security of the facility.
• Perform material moves with related transactions.
• Participate in workgroups to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for the assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
