Ryder is seeking Warehouse Associates in Whitestown, Indiana, offering weekly pay and a pathway from temporary to permanent status. Roles involve assembling and packing orders, loading/unloading trailers, operating forklifts, and maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of related warehousing experience, with potential for overtime and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers) and basic maintenance basics.
• Able to operate manual or automated other warehouse equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure accurate scanning.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain security at end of shift.
• Perform material moves and housekeeping in assigned area.
• Support team initiatives to improve warehouse operations.
