Job summary

Future Metals LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Wallingford, CT to support order fulfillment and warehouse operations. The role involves picking, inspecting, packaging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities include using ERP to manage order data, printing shipping labels, cutting materials, and performing cycle counts. Must have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of warehouse experience; forklift operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick material from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Inspect material for defects or damage prior to shipment.
• Verify material specs match customer requirements and pick tickets.
• Package material according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.
• Enter and maintain accurate order information within the ERP system.
• Generate and print shipping labels for outgoing shipments.
• Cut material using abrasive saws, FMB saws, and cold saw equipment.
• Deburr material using grinding equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations by completing location transfers within the ERP system.
• Participate in cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist in other warehouse functions as assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety procedures.
