Job summary

Covenant Logistics seeks a Material Handler to move goods within the warehouse using a forklift and other lifts to support production and shipping operations. You will follow safety policies, stack freight methodically, and plan efficient movements based on layout and volume.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, processing materials, maintaining records with RF devices, and ensuring timely, accurate inventory and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and safe lift operation required.
• Ability to work in a highly organized, color-coded environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for all shifts.
• Experience with RF devices and inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of WMS/RF systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other lifts following safety policies.
• Stack, move, and organize freight according to standards.
• Plan efficient freight movement based on layout and volume.
• Inspect forklift equipment and records, and use RF devices.
• Process materials, supply production areas, and ship/receive items.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and document activities.
• Assemble orders and relocate to pallets, staging, or shipping.
• Support 5S, quality compliance, and housekeeping initiatives.
• Cross-train in related warehouse functions as needed.
