Job summary

Freight Handlers in Statesville, NC is seeking an experienced Warehouse Freight Hauler to join our team. Starting shift at 4:00 AM, you will move freight from the receiving dock to the designated haul zone, wrap pallets securely, and scan items for correct drop location.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a warehouse associate preferred.
  • Experience with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy freight safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Transport freight to designated haul zone.
  • Ensure pallets are wrapped securely and moved without damage.
  • Scan freight into the system for correct drop location.
  • Operate in a fast-paced warehouse with safety and quality goals.

The Hauler will be responsible for transferring product from the receiving dock to the designated aisle.Responsibilities include:Transport received freight to designated haul zoneEnsure pallets are wrapped securely and transported without damage to the designated aisleScan freight into the system to ensure proper drop location (where applicable)Work is performed in a warehouse setting and is physically demandingPerform duties safely and efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment. Ensure that operations are aligned and performed to achieve production and safety goalsPerform all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goalsAll other duties as assigned*Please note this is not a travel position and you should live local to the site.We take pride in doing things right, and that includes the way we treat our employees.
