Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Freight Handler in Aberdeen, MD. The role involves processing pallets, verifying inbound freight, and maintaining pallet integrity in a fast-paced distribution center.

Training is provided, and candidates must meet basic safety and attendance requirements. Starting at the minimum rate with raises, the position offers weekly pay, incentive potential, and a benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down products for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets and account for damaged product.
• Ensure pallet structural integrity and proper receipt into inventory.
• No experience required—we’ll train you to get the job done.
