Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Warehouse - Sanitation team member to perform cleaning and maintenance across facilities.

You will clean surfaces, maintain dock areas for safety, and assist with additional tasks as needed while following guidelines and OSHA-related practices. This role supports our operations and requires a good work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of work experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations helpful.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces of assigned areas using maintenance tools and equipment.

Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm

The purpose of the Warehouse - Sanitation position is to perform various maintenance tasks to ensure the proper upkeep and cleanliness of BEK buildings.

• Clean all surfaces of assigned areas using appropriate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ensure upkeep of designated dock areas to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
